Try using some scanning spray. If you don't have any, try lightly sandblasting the sleeves. Most scanners don't like "shiny" surfaces....

I would like to believe that the latest Exocad Galway program has the plastic sleeve in its library - surley we take it from there and not scan a sprayed physical plastic which is inaccurate?
Anyone done this procedure?

How about a pic of what you're talking about?

Any ideas Doug? From what ive searched it seems you have to scan again with female plastic in place - does not come out with sharp clear edges tho

We have all of the male attachments in our Exocad so they are in the design we do. I have always just called Xpdent and ordered the female pieces. You can get differing quantities of them. They provide three different retentions in the package. Makes life easy.

Doug - do you then place the female plastic on , spray and scan ? ie - not use the digital female ? - the fit has to be close to perfect for the plastic to click in place on final frame .

No, I provide that to the doc who can send it to their removable lab. We don't do any removable work. There are processing clips for them to use.
