I think I am about the same on cement space but still have to scale my parts higher in the Z and slightly on X,Y. Have you printed with the super cast material yet? I have about 1 weeks resin left in plascast. I will switch over then.
Are you printing bridges successfully?
I have not used the supercast material. my bridges have been fine but I have not printed anything more than a 3 unit. I only do e.max. and zirconium. I add even more of a cement gap on bridges.

Does anyone know what temperature the material will soften at...just having some ideas...but not for casting...
Is it similar to their material for the DP printers?
Scott you are the 3D Systems man, any idea?

Thermo-flex splints ? Tested a few materials already...closest was one PLA+emulsifiers material done on a RepRap type printer...can't wait to improve the resolution on those extruders....

I think the build platform maybe a but too small on the 1200 for what i was thinking.. but hey if it was just a bit bigger....

Im very curious too. I know you tech guys have discussed it before, but how does the fit of milled wax compare to these printers, and how does the 'digisnot' burn out? Clean? Does is bubble up and expand and create pressure in the mold like some plastics?
We have tested the material for this printer from 3D Systems. We had no problems casting or pressing patterns from it. I'm not exactly sure what occurs in the ring, but all product produced looked as good as wax.

I am sure you could print a model just like on the Asiga. You would have to stand the model on its end and that would make it take all day. I doubt it would be accurate enough to not still need a poured solid. The Asiga takes about 2 hours to print a load of crowns.

It's a desktop wax printer. I think the capacity is about a dozen units every 70 minutes. Not certain, but I think it will cost about $5K.
We are anticipating receiving a beta unit this week. I will keep you posted.
As far as I know, no models.

What software do you use for design of the printed units?
