3shape (Gernate Cam output F7) missing?

I had a customer call saying that under advanced settings in 3shape they no longer have a "Generate Cam output F7)


I changed his cement setting a day prior (that is literally all I changed)


Now there is no export feature on his D900?!


Any suggestions?

Could this mean his scanner is "locked"

Did you check the manufacturer output setting?
Maybe it was reset.

Everything seems to look good......setting wise at least!

check the order form.. look at the material and manufacturer.
if the manufacturer has a locked material, you will not be able to output files locally.
in this case, switch the material to an unlocked material, or go to control panel/manufacturing processes and assign your dongle # from the list of sites to the material in order to output locally

also make sure it's in the "modelled" state

The CAM output is neither dependent on the scanner, nor on the cement space settings.

There are several reasons as already mentioned above:
- The case has not been fully modelled yet
- He is using a manufacturing process which does not allow local CAM output
- He is using a manufacturing process which uses a DLL file which is not enabled on his dongle

Just to clarify what cap_yk says: Even if the material is locked for editing in the ControlPanel you can still produce local CAM output. The 'lock' is on the DLL file used by the manufacturing process; if the DLL needs enabling on the dongle then it might not allow local CAM output.
