I would have never put baby oil in my 450i! One, I can't stand the smell of it, drives me crazy,

and two it's not what the manufacturer suggests you use! Your salesman needs to pay for all

of the damage not you!!!

Baby oil?? How did they come up with this? The coolant liquid has anti rust agents in it. you can leave the liquid in there to dry up it will never rust.
secondly how were the milling results with baby oil :)

but he's not wrong! mineral oil is ideal to be used.

What i am more worried about is that 1) somehow the solution was altered and now has salt content (like if you dip your key chain in peroxide)

2) it was left wet over the weekend (unlikely to turn like that, but not ruling it out)

I think they mixed mineral oil and water together though, so it

was the water that actually caused the rusting.
