spray opaque liquid??

Does anybody know how to make spray opaque liquid? What's in it that so expensive?? Just spent 55bucks for a bottle of it

You could make a low viscosity mixture of opaque powder and liquid and put it in an airbrush to apply it.

I've done it before but it's messy and you waste a lot of opaque.

alchohol instead of liquid. and use it in front of a suction with some kind of cloth or papertowel on the intake. works like a charm

i forget allready. We used to do this a while back when we used to make PFM's. Denatured should work, dries right away as it is applied on the metal, leaving a nice even coat of opaque.

Hi Kev a few guys I know use Tinea spray they say its great because it's cheap I know it sounds strange but it works. Give it a go.

He probaly means tinactin spray. Thats for scanning not for your purpose.

Break it down, how many units you sprayed and its the least cost in your crown. Now let's talk about the 35$

I use etch for emax and esthetic by tri dynamics and I think it works better than ivoclar's.
You get twice as much and it's cheaper.
I guess my point about the spray opaque liquid is for what it is, that it shouldn't cost that much.

We spray opaque and we use alcohol . Works perfectly . 3 euros for 100 ml . You may waste some extra opaque but it is sooo fast ! Our time in the lab is more expensive than any opaque out there !

100% alcohol from the liquor store. We use it to spray opaque, bond layer onto Zr copings, and glaze onto FCZr. Use any leftover opaque in a catch pan for your 1st opaque layer. Saves tons.

The chemist. Spray a little on your finger and see if it falls off. No seriously try it out. Some have a fine coloured powder and some have a clear mate result after it dries.

Hey Bobby Orr, how fast does the opaque dry using Everclear. The spray liq I use only takes seconds. Wondering?

Dries lightening fast !!! The trick is to find the balance of needle gauge/hole space/density of opaque:alcohol ..... My 3parameters for a successful opaque is for the mixture to apply Thin,Wet, and Dense .

What kind of sprayer you guys use ( Brand ) is it a dental use or other.
