I know 20 implants libraries on Exocad dental system , so there are as many differents scanbodys ....

Which library you want to use ?

Hi French Cadman, thank you. I would mill scan locators for exocad for major implants... there are stl files (or autocad workable) of the scan locators?

What is resolution of your 2012 projector? (Right-click on desktop....Display properties or screen resolution...etc)

Then, do you know if the 2013 will have better resolution projector?

I think I am interested in these scanners? I get very little info about scan bodys and library in the US. I think I would ask for your help to locate good quality scan bodys.

Next week, I'll call the solutionix development to know the exact resolution values for today and tomorrow ...
I looked on the Solutionix website (new website ! ) and I found that ,

Solutionix > Rexcan DS2

2 LG cameras whith resolution : 1.3 Mega pixels

Not the camera Frenchy.....the Projector! In the middle.

It is used like monitor....same thing. It makes the striped light.

Forget the cameras for a moment.

Again....Right-Click on desktop....choose "Properties" or "Display settings" or Resolution.

I am wondering what your projectors resolution is for 2012 model.

I know the 2011 Jason has is about 1080x??? like a HD TV's native resolution.

Is this same your 2012? You can even see the name of manufacture of projector...Like Samgsung, or Sony, etc...

It is going to be a common projector, for sure.

On 2012 Solutionix model you don't have VGA socket like on 2011 model (Jason) !
Only the USB socket , so to know the resolution I think it's different ....
I'm trying to find more information

I updated my software on my 2011 model a few weeks ago. Kept getting intermittent artifacts. Had to slow down certain aspects and ended up with slightly more speed then before and fantastic scan data

I got a chance to use a 2012(Charles) model in Atlanta. It scanned very fast and very accurate. I was really impressed. I am not sure which version of software it was running though.

Jason, last week Jim at Precision Milling..(B&D) told me I have the newest updates.. Sounds like its not the very latest like Cadman's ?

Hi Charles, the N° of the update is 7.2.8.20506 , I don't know if it's the same in USA (???)
On the 2011 scanner nothing change it's not faster with this update, you can really enjoy the progress only whith the 2012 scanner ( since March, I think...) because Solutionix change processors , projector and cameras ...

To find your version , clic on Identica (or Solutionix) icon (not on exocad icon) and clic "help" in the toolbar and "about" , you'll find it !

If your scanner model no. Starts with SExxxxxxx then it is the newest scanner. Major improvement is the scan volume, slightly larger. These have 1.4 magapixels LG cameras and have a single USB connection for all. Metallic model holders and a metallic articulator.
