I don't have that problem anymore John my D2000 scan like the D700 scan an splint scan. But the older scanner do scan pretty dull, don't know why though.
The D2000 does just fine. I do notice if the waxup has heavy anatomy on an anterior, by the time I morph to the waxup, some of that anatomy is smoothed. Not much, but it is noticeable.
Here you go John, courtesy of TeamViewer session. Just scanned this in today for and 8,9 case. A lot better then my older D700 scanner where you would get un-countless amounts of holes on the interproximals and on the linguals and where ever else the laser faded out and I had my setting pinned to detailed on everything and even tried spraying. I would hate to see what the d2000 does when I go to scan a case in the splint module. That will be my next project.
