Corporate dentistry is the new oral cancer.

While I agree greed has always been a factor I see it this way.

Since implant dentistry is now standard of care and not a luxury, and the advent of "weekend bone hunter excursions" to get "certified" this is what the average GP is producing. Not all but many are really not ready to 'experiment" and have their patients be the one they practice on.

The is very little hope for this case, with that little bone inter-proximal on that severe facial tilt and that bite its likely that one or both implants will not last.

Anyone notice the dimples on the adjacent teeth, not to mention the awesome distal rest on the free end :)

What about a pud with locators?
The Pud already located the implants.

IME patients reject removable when they were promised fixed from the get go.

True but that's where I would go with this apart from retiring.

You could look at this from many perspectives.
I'm not saying this particular case is a result of greed but the pressure from a corporate perspective could be the motivation whether this client is part of the company or the single practice across the street.

Whats the problem guys cant you see that is where the bone was?
I would almost bet money that if we had a CT scan, one of those implants is perforating the nasal floor.

one of my friends put up a fantastic 'thought for the day' the other day.

if you are driving and you have your fingers in your nose and you encounter an unexpected pothole, youre going to have a bad time.

That x-ray was taken to show how proud they were of it.
