I don't have an attachment manual handy, does anyone know what this is?

It's 3.5 mm tall x 1.5 mm wide. It looks like an old-school Ney Dovetail but I'm not certain.

Stern type 7 I still have 2 in stock from sometime nn the 80's/ They made that one and a Type 7GL.
In your second picture it may look like the latch could have fractured, have DDS take picture in mouth to see if notch is in female.

The Stern 7 had parallel sides not tapered as in picture, also the male in picture was cast not stamped and never had a latch. The picture is of a PD attachment, not a precision attachment, note the lingual clasp arm which you wouldn't use if it were a precision attachment. I have a few plastic males that were sent from the C&B labs that are a translucent red that might be from Ney or maybe Attachments International (now Implants Direct) talk to Darwin Bagley. The translucent red PD attachments didn't have rounded corners like the other PD's.
