You're correct. I just hope some of the little things I mentioned to my reseller might trickle into updates.
Are you using the HD or the older model with the VGA port? I just saw a beta version for the Freedom VGA style newest ScanApp.

Yeah. I'm sure he does but I'm looking for opinions from the unbiased end user.

John, I know you are looking for feedback from Medit Light users so I will not go into a sales pitch. I would like to clarify some points that have been brought up just to make sure the correct information is available to you and others who are reading this thread:
  • The Medit Identica Light will support the use of a full sized articulator. In fact, the Light model has the same work area as the Blue and Hybrid models so all can accommodate an articulator.
  • The MSRP of the Light is $8,995 which makes it a very good value for a high quality, open architecture, LED structured light scanner.
End of commercial, back to the discussions...

HD. It's a good scanner, but there are tweaks I'd like to see.

Glenn, lowing the price to an incredible $8995.00 makes the Light a game-changer and worth considering for first time buyers of scanners.
Cheapest scanners I've seen lately are around 11k or more.......
