hello my friend,
I have a roland machine dmx-40 and buy a fixture.

I've seen this machine in internet working perfectly for dental.






not how to add the Roland dmx-40 with sum3d

could you help me with this?

where did you got sum3d? who sold it to you should have given dmx-40 machine for sum3d

It sounds like you are trying to use an MDX-40 mill with SUM3D. You will need to contact SUM3D to see if they can create an MDX-40 post processor so SUM3D can write tool paths for your MDX-40 mill. If they can't then you will either need to find CAM software that will work with your MDX-40 or purchase a DWX mill which is designed for dental and works seamlessly with SUM3D.

You would be better off buying a used DWX-30 since it holds a standard 98 mm puck and is designed for Zirconia. The DWX-30 and MDX-40 don't have tool changers.

You could also look for a DWX-4 which is designed for dental, is zirconia compatible, includes a tool changer and comes bundled with CAM software.
