Guys... I'm so confused
I'm using vita vm9
sombody tell me my ceramics logic is wrong,
He said the copping and framework should reduce the target color (like A3>A2)
otherwise the value or color will wrong...

I'm so confused now... can anyone share the ceramics logic?
like is this right?

Thank you

Say that again? There seems to be some details missing in what he said to you.

That's somewhat true. If your target is A3 & you start with an A3 frame, value will be too low when you're finished. I always go brighter to start, then add chroma & trans as I build out, thus controlling the value.

Your confused and for good reason. No reason to use a lighter shade to get the value correct unless the core shade value is off.
I used VM9 porcelain about 5 years ago when zirconia shades were pretty bad in general and I couldn't get the value correct on light 3D shades from -1m1 to 2m2 range.
Didn't have a problem on most classical shades.
Look at your core shade using stain liquid to see if the value is ok, to high or to low of value and go from there. May need to use a lighter core shade on light shades.
Squint your eyes to see Value !
If the lab is using Vita's VM13 porcelain on pfms, you know the opaques are colored in Value, not shades.

PinAn, this should solve your value problems.
Arrange your a classical shade guide in value from high to low value. Use I value shade lighter for the frame shades your having problems.
Still need to check frame shade/value to see your starting point. Remember value is king and that's when shades don't match.
