I have wrapped my favorite carvers in clearsplint to make the handles carpel tunnel friendly.

That's a decent price. I have been buying mine from Zoll Dental, $25.00 each.
Also, Smileline has a nice handle / tip that I purchased at LMT, a bit more
expensive though.

I am trying to move away from my carvers that are super old and were overheated with the Bunsen burner, they are soft and sometimes I bend the tips.

I never carve with instruments I heat. Completely separate.
You can't maintain the proper cutting edges if you heat them.

How should I be using this to create seamless margin?
I use a Yeti wax brush. Burnish downward from gingival margin. It'll soften out sharp ledges.
Last w/u I posted in waxup of the week I employed that just before final flame.

Like a chop at a 45 degree(stippling) or a stiff/soft brush down facial 45,90,135?

I am pretty sure I figured it out on my own, but can never hurt to hear it from the horses mouth.

Brush strokes down from just above free gingival margin down wax. Not stipple. Think soft burnishing.
Here's my brush:
