When it comes to chairside scanners and in office milling units....Sirona has a large portion of that market locked down. With the amount of money they put into R and D, if laser ablation would fit the chairside market then they would have probably been all over it already....probably not going to happen anytime soon.

Ceramic denture teeth have been created using additive RP for many years now.Through exhaustive trial and error they perfected each " tooth mould size" and then simply mass produced each one over and over like car parts. I would bet that a group of nerds at some printing outfit are working on the software revamp and tooling changes that will make it possible to create individually unique teeth in a fast and economical way, The technology exists,..it just needs two twists and a tweek and then,.... bang,...here comes another must have item for you to stuff up your shizzle shute!!!!!
