My coworker is having a problem when trying to add porcelain to an old bridge(chrome cobolt framework). It's normally not af problem when the bridge has only been in the patients mouth for a few weeks. But sometimes we get a bridge that has been temporary bonded and needs more porcelain efter 3 or 4 months in the patients mouth - usually beneath the pontics.
We have been told by our supplier that the cracks in the porcelain is caused by saliva/bacteria penetrating the porcelain. Their advice is to submerge the bridge in a disinfecting solution(same stuff used for impressions) for 24 hours before trying to fire porcelain, but they also said we could not be sure it will work.
My question is:
How to you pull this of?
