Worst decision of my life? Could it be opening my own lab? Nope. It was finding DLN! HA!
And poor wording of questions, giving this group of derelicts ammo.Nope. It was finding DLN! HA!
Hey guys, want a trip down memory lane( if you're old enough)? About a year and a half ago,had to retire an SS White lathe circa 1920s. (It caught on fire).Last year got a new electric welder. Old one, quit. Only 70yrs old. (Will send pic.). What's still kicking? Curing unit. God knows how old. (I'll send pic). Give it your best guess as to age. You can laugh, but I believe that if it ain't broke don't fix it. Yeah, I have new equipment, but they really don't make them like they used to.

I just saw this show up on Ebay today "you might want to upgrade your unit to this new fancy newer model ,lol "This might not be "most used" in our lab, but hell. its old. Its The "Dial-O-Weld". i think this is piece of equipment that has been used since 50's. Our oldest worker said, that he purchased it in the mid 70s and it was then aprrox 20 yrs old.

Obama's going to nuke Trump Plaza?because we'll all be dead by then, what with the imminent threat of nuclear war.
We have one of these as well. I have been here 20 years and it was old when I got here. It works well I think it is kinda cool. It looks like something used by the KGB.This might not be "most used" in our lab, but hell. its old. Its The "Dial-O-Weld". i think this is piece of equipment that has been used since 50's. Don't want to be all safety Nazi, but check the internal wires, ground especially or get a geeky friend to check before putting it in service.Hand-me-down from a friend... gotta clean up and hope it works.
What am I missing?i would be extremely impressed if you did.
