does anyone know a good place to buy Titanium from? I haven't found many places that sell disc of Titanium or Chromium Cobalt. I'm looking for 98mm Discs,
thanks

Supra Alloy is the largest in the US for Medical Ti.

Call and tell them to start stocking that size. I will too.

I need more soon as well.

They cut any shape you want with water-jet.

Grade 2 and grade 5 they have.

If you find a cheaper source for real Medical Ti, let me know.

I think these guys are the big players?

I have been purchasing from Weiland.
They have the 98mm pucks in various thicknesses.

You wont find 98mm. as it is not a standard size, It comes in at 101/103mm bar - dont ask me why thats just how it comes but even with water cutting it is stll not bang on, even with plate its still out we got 16mm plate and it came in at 16.39. the best thing to do, is get it cut to lets say 18mm by 98mm ask them to go a bIt too big so 18.50mm and get it machined down. You should pay in £s the same as you are having cut so a 12mm=£12 then £10 for machining to the proper size. Hope that helps.

Scott is it possible to "mill" copings with one of those water jets?...I've seen those machines on American Chopper and always wondered if they could be used for dental applications.

Ya' I know they use dilithium crystals on the planet Vulcan...

will contact Supra Alloy, unfortinaly the best prices we have come across are out of Germany, White peaks, but we want to stay with US material. Seems pretty hard to find material in US though.
Thanks

Not saying you wont find US material but everything I have bought in the UK has had a China test certificate with it and I have used 4 or 5 different suppliers.:(

negative. Can't control the depth. Only cuts 2D shapes. Kinda limited applications. Not that fun of a machine IMO.
