Versacryl Question

I really don't get the chance to use versacryl that often so I'm a little inexperienced. I recently made a cusil/gasket type denture for a patient and I got it back today because part of the gasket has broken off. My question is why did my clear versacryl gaskets turn white? The work order says he only soaks his denture in water, nothing else. Anyone had this problem? What causes it and is there a fix?

I do remember using the versacryl sealer on the gaskets, should I have just polished them instead? You think that could be the problem?

I have made these before but have not experienced the turning white. As for the gasket breaking off I wonder if he is warming it before insertion and removal. I really stress to the doc patient compliance.
You might try the versacryl website and see if they can answer the turning white question. It's acrylic like the denture so what affects one should affect the other.
