I know the search option here isn't nearly as awesome as we'd like, but if you do

most search engines will recognize one or the other and give results only or at least primarily from here.

If you go with running a teamviewer or VNC instance the biggest issues will likely be your home videocard and home connection's upload speed, how fast it can send information from you to the 3shape machine in the lab. If you're not geely enough to know your intimately, ask you ISP what you have now and what options are available. They will, of course, want more money.

YUP!

Just need to do some configuring on the lab router and your done. But no sharing of database and you must take the file home and import them along with the dme's. You can install from home without a dongle.
