Have a Doc that wants a temp Maryland bridge with PMMA. can you get a true bond with PMMA? I have sifted through some old threads and not found much? Any help would be appreciated. Jim

we've been printing them in Rodin with great results

we would actually mill, not print. Although printing is a great option. the doc wants a milled temp but worried about proper cementation-bonding.

We have a patient on Milled Maryland temporaries as a space maintainer until she gets her implant restored. If we have enough clearance it works good.

Bond with What? Most bonding systems are designed to work with Ceramic (emax) or Composites. PMMA belongs to the Acrylic family. You will have to ask your client what bonding system he currently uses, and see what the applications are for the material. As far as strength, you could always bury some metal or fiber mesh in as a safeguard.
