Occluding casts in 3shape

When scanning the casts occluded can the cast be rubber banded or hot glued as long as it’s away from the area of the restoration?

Touch of sticky wax in the occlusion after you've hand articulated.

Doesn't even need to be sticky wax, just wax as long as it cools good first.

Do not use a rubber band! It place unneeded tension and can throw your bite off! I use renfert geo stick wax and place it on the lingual and place the plate in the scanner very slowly and carefully to not break the bond.
