3M does not want too much video out there. I stopped years ago posting up this stuff. You should see inside a Lava mill! Beautiful over-engineered German masterpiece of a machine. Designed to run for 25yrs non-stop! Every wire is trimmed and tucked and layed out perfect. Internal chiller for the computer cabnit and the spindle. Mine can run for days with nobody in the lab! I believe 3M is sold out, so I'll go ahead tell ya how happy I am with my mills. Maybe a half year from now a new generation of mills will be sold. five-axis Lava 500 mill??
You heard it here first! Lava 500 will mill the tops of crowns out of various materials, along with the substructures. It could mill a model, and temporary materials, E-max type stuff, along with Zirconia and wax.
The 3M Lava scanners will be able to design just about any C&B, along with recieving the scans from a doc with an oral scanner ( Lava C.O.S.)
My second mill was a Roland MDX-45.
My third mill was another Lava mill.
Next toy was InVision High Resolution 3D printer.
And Next will be the new Lava mill, and maybe a Viper Pro SLA system.
