Modifying Ti abutments

When you prep down a implant abutment are you guys smoothing it out with a rubber wheel or should i leave a rough surface?

I always smooth it.

and polish the margin area...then I sand blast above the polished margin 1mm, use a carbide to put the number on the buccal surface (keep in mind maxillary's need to be put upside down)

Smooth it out making sure the margin is nice and defined if possible.

I smooth also. Rubber wheel horizontally around the abutment, High Shine (when not Nitride Coated) below the margin.
