I am having trouble making my implant models,
I use exocad model builder.
Formlabs 3b- plateless models.
I make the extra die
Go back then do a solid and then finish with itero attachment.
Tight mesial and distal contacts on model, wide open in the mouth.
Suggestions?

they aren't being re-sized in the batch software
in post processing the residual resin is removed
it isn't calibration

New model resin brand, or new bottle?
just implant models? who's library? do the analogs fit like they should?

Resin bottle and tank are the same. My normal models fit, Exocads library not using a analog just the top of the abutment integrated into the solid.

How are you orientating the model on the build plate?

can you order the milled model to cross check?
i have failures when i print to the plate on the Ackuretta.. i always support and put the drain holes at the occlusion side instead of the plate or base side

Slightly angled to right or left to avoid the vacuum bubble.
If you tilt the models on the build plate for implants, often times the adjacent contact is not supported properly by the slicer software causing a distortion.

My software says there is cupping, I rotate it on the axis parallel with the contacts so it shouldn't cause support issues. I tilt maybe 5-10 degrees.

Formlabs 3b+ All my models I print flat to build plate solid models with no supports now. I just make them shorter to help save on some resin. Have had better and more consistent printing this way. Maybe his temp contacts are too tight.

We print them flat and empty inside and no issues with Form3b (we use 3shape for Model builder tho)
