I was in the office today, I thought it was a nobel replace however not so sure now. It was placed in the 1990's and when the crown was removed today, it looked like a straumann synocta with the margin on the implant but it was also filled with what seemed to be amalgum (unsure, or might be solid abutment). The doctor tried to removed but didn't want to go to far, so now I'm looking for a slot attachment for the wrench and will but a slot in it to see if it can be removed. I'll try to get the pictures and attach them.

So the dentist is still trying to remove this but can't. This is what it looks like now, has been trying to make a slot and unscrew. Any ideas of what this is?

My bet is on Straumann Tapered Effect (I'm pretty damn sure)
also, the screw is Straumann and the fact that it was placed in the 90's tells me it's probably name brand

EDIT, now I am second guessing myself, anytime I see a stubby fixture like that I think of BICON
