Hello everyone,

I am new to Dental Lab Network online forum, and I am in some dire need of help.

I have a doctor that uses an iTero scanner in his office. What is the best way mill out a crown on the Sirona InLab CEREC from an iTero file? Apparently he can export iTero to an STL file, which can be emailed? That is what iTero told me today on the phone. From there how am I able to take the STL file and convert it into a CDT file to be used with the CEREC? What are my options here, I am very open, and I need help fast, this is going to determine if I am still going to work with this doctor, and it is extremely important. PLEASE HELP??

Thank you all so much,
Nick T.

I've done research on going the other direction, but either way I'd look up Open Dental CAD and Dental Shaper to see if they will work for you
