Hi guys i have an issue and i need your advice. When i finish my porcelain the metal from the inner side of the crown gets a thin layer of green. I always sand blast my work at the and so that the green layer disappear. Does that green layer affect the cementation? If yes how can i get reed of it without sand blast it?

Sounds like non precious or possibly a high silver content alloy
I got away from silver alloys this year....would love to get rid of NP, just have a few stubborn clients that refuse anything else. Yuck!

It probably will not make the bond better and just add to the dentists list of things that were your fault if there is a failure. We always remove oxides from the interior of crowns. The dentists spends as much time looking at the inside of the crown as the shiny part so it makes sense to remove it.

No question, it needs to be blasted off. Why would you leave it?
