Duplicating a Denture in 3Shape?

I've received 2 separate cases this month where Dr's scanned an entire denture, including the the relined intaglio surface, and asked us to to duplicate it in 3Shape Full Denture Design.
Both Doctors were informed that there is a workflow in 3shape to essentially use the denture as both an impression and a preop for designing a new denture.
I've asked our 3shape support, but they weren't very familiar with this.
(I even tried splitting the file into an "impression scan" and a "prepreparationscan", but 3shape kept crashing and\or rejecting it.)
Does anyone out there know if this is possible?

what we do is scan it, and then produce a model and work off of that. for single jaw I guess you can just work from digital, but for both jaws we print the models and mount them and rescan. there isn't a function to duplicate the denture so you have to scan it in and make it as close as you can.
