CodeMeter Control Center

Hello everyone.
I have noticed today, out of the corner of my eye, that there is a program installed on my CAM computer called CodeMeter Control Center.
Does anyone else have this downloaded? I never (purposely) downloaded this. So it's kind of concerning to me, but I am also worried about
uninstalling it, which may or may not cause any or none of my programs to run.

Any insights would be much appreciated.

this controls your dongle and if it is uninstalled your CAM program will no longer see the dongle.

codemeter is used by hyperdent and a handful of other CAM software including sirona.

That was wise of you to have asked, Klinger, as I saw that about 4 months ago and uninstalled it..a "what is this doing on my PC", thing. It disabled my Sirona Connect inbox from working. The Sirona tech was very helpful and knew exactly what it was and what I had done, and took care of it in 5 minutes.
