Is it just me, but has the strength of these blades changed?

I've ordered 2 in the last couple of months. The handle now has a flat on each side,
and the blade seems to be pretty weak.
I've had a couple for ~10 years that the blades have been really durable and just kinda worn down,
but have not bent or have the tip break as easily as the new ones have.

Is it just me, or should I quit trying to use it to pry counter tops off? ;) :)

My favorite is the 7 in rosewood. Never touch the rest of them.

It could be you. I've snapped a few plaster blades being a dumbass. It's easy

I had the same experience with their plaster spatulas. Way too weak. Used it 2x and couldn't take it anymore. Just stuck it in the bin to be forgotten.

I've got an old Moyco cast aluminum handle. It's a little better, but I totally agree the wood handle ones the blades have gotten flimsier.

Maybe we can get one of these cad geniuses to turn on their swordsmith gene and make us some nice stuff from SLM?

Yeah, I've noticed one of the kiddos drug one into the plaster room. Makes a little more sense in that light.
Maybe they were just trying to butter you up?
