If you guys are looking for wax cheap to make yourself. Your getting ripped off by going to MachinableWax, he buys it in bulk like the rest of us from FreemanSupply or other vendors.
I just noticed something on the latest bump that was previously overlooked. The quoted statement is false. MachinableWax.com makes ALL of our machinable wax blends in-house. This was the case in 2012 as well as today.
Some waxes are better than others, but regardless of how much or where you buy them from, the bulk of the price per unit is the labor. The cost of the wax is relatively cheap. Labor is not. In most of North America, anyway. But Like *** pointed out, cutting down the cylinders is a great value for those who have the time and facilities to do so.
And if someone is really selling pucks for $2/piece, I can only imagine the living conditions of their workers. Holy cow.
