Can anyone comment on the Optic Scanner from Germany? Any experience or comments would be greatly appreciated.

New, they have several models available. The one I am interested in is for multiple implant scans for bridges and bars.

Not popular in the US. No support, no reseller.

Forget it. Maybe good for someone in Europe perhaps?

Do they still use old Texas Instruments DLP technology for the projector?

I had One I threw into trash when the DLP unit quit working.

Personnaly I threw 10 of them in garbage when I was Biocad.
We had to run 3 units at time to have at least 1 that was working fine.

But those were old model in 2006-2009...dunno what they are now..but is the past is the base of the future not sure I would trust this scanner.

U can bye a medit blue or se for for less money so why that if i bought one the same time as my medit i would throw him into the garbage now because of his speed. speed is now ok and they are proud of the second die scan strategie my se does this from the beginning an they are although proud of the measuring field 80x 80x 60 my se has this now for the three and a half years i work with so welcome to future and revolution.

I find the smart optic scanner are just fine. Zirkonzhan Italy are using them. We tested on at Imes Icor and we found them slow in scanning compared to 3shape. Like primus said pick a thing where you can get service. They will brake down one day. I find that most important when you are buying these expensive tools.
