it was like listening to a lecture from 2007 it wasnt correct then either im pretty sure the uk has been into zi for a long time now i wonder if this is just a rev up or worse still its actually a genuine question.

I have Drs still getting out of PFMs.. wondering what this newfangled zirconia stuff is..

In the states, it's getting harder and harder to find and be able to pay techs that can stack porcelain. My lab did a few CrCo cases about ten years ago, but it never took off in the area we serve. We are seeing fewer and fewer porc fused to metal cases and we just wouldn't do a case involving CrCo when there are other options that are more reliable and cost effective imo. Processing zirc is a much simpler work flow in most laboratories and you aren't sacrificing esthetics or strength over CrCo.
