Just taken delivery of two more Kavo Everest mills . I am milling all my glass ceramic on them . They fit perfect thanks to go2 cam and most of all Ulrich. He not only supports the software but knows the hardware backwards. And his wonderful Lara she has been up late into the night to get me out of some hardware jams. I can't thank them enough for all there help. Kavo units second hand are cheap compared to other mills and it just works harder than any mill I have seen. For any Kavo user thinking about moving to the dark side away from OEM go2 cam for Kavo in my opinion is the best and only option.

Do you still have to invest the glass ceramic blocks or is there a yolk to hold them. How many can it hold?

No they click into place using the cerec style metal arm, you can mill up to 10 at a time.

Find someone to buy my KaVo Eric, then you make a sale.

It is sitting here waiting.....$5000USD for the mill.

I sold my disk fixture. (Yoke)
They are around $1000 from KaVo.
Only that part is now missing.

The Ronden software is installed!
I did buy that package and you can also use the longer tools.

I bought the coolant tank for that one....you don't have a second do you?
Did Klaus calibrate that one for you or did you do it?

Klaus did it.
I do not have the coolant tank.

Just make one! Get a bucket and a pump. LOL

Or, use it dry as I do for Zirconia, Wax and PMMA.

You can mill Zr 5x faster dry anyways!

I made an air-puffer system and added Vaniman vacuum.

I have Go2Cam now from the Kavo ninja and its fast and uses the lasers. Just need a coolant tank I guess!

IVY, I would make a proposal to Primus' and buy his Kavo, get a yoke from Ninja, and you'll have 2 Kavo... I know people who are buying several second hand mills and grow their business with Kavo and GO2dental

Sitting here for waiting.....

Thanks guys!

I strongly recommend milling Zr dry with my air-puffer I made!

You should try it! Much faster feeds are possible!

Have the Ninja give you better strategy for milling Dry.

2000mm/min or even faster is possible.

Wet is so slow! Cannot go to 2000mm/min Wet.

I refused to sell it due to buyer having no experience.

This was clearly stated in my ad.

Must go to correct person!

Did not want another person calling me 10x a day with questions.

Eric, Ninja, IVY.....

Let me explain something.

Paying $5000 to calibrate a KaVo is absolutely absurd!

For starters, if you know what is out of calibration and how much, you can correct the work offset in the CAM.

You do NOT need to be a Rocket-Scientist and try to change this in the CNC controller if it is going to cost $5000

Simply correct this in the Post! Easy!!

Same as changing this in the CNC controller. Same/same!

If the Z axis is off by 1mm (OK that is a LOT!) then you can easily correct this in the CAM much easier than trying to do this in the CNC controller software.

I do this with SUM3d, this is why you do not see a recent calibration in the CNC Controller.

Eric and the Ninja know this to be true. So, I calibrate my own mills. Always do this myself. Can be done in the CAM!

Teach your customer (Mr. IVY) how to cut a part...then measure...then make correction in your machine parameters in the GO2 CAM to have the post auto-correct it.

No more depending on stupid KaVo tech being flown in from Germany to do this. That is just crazy talk guys!

You can adjust all axii this way in most ALL CAM software. Distance of workoffset from centerline of rotarys, and the XYZ Linear axii.

All totally possible and very easy to understand this process.

Easy to do the calibration through the IBH software, you just need the instructions and couple of spare hours. It is measured to three decimal places. Just bit daunting the first time thats all.
