Wouldn't you have to cast it under vacuum?

High pd alloy noble. Drilled mechanical retention holes in the screw channel. Of course only trying it for screw retained crown. Dr. Wants pfm.

Expect a remake...Ti is covered with oxides at casting temp, so there's no metal to metal bond present. Eventually will become loose due to galvanic reaction...seen one of those not to long ago...dentist wasn't thrilled with her lab...just sayin'

I'd say you are working without a net.
I don't think the traditional gold UCLA abutment exists just so companies can sell more gold.
Why do you wish to go this route rather than just casting to a UCLA?

Even with mechanical retention cut in. Yes I noticed the extreme oxide after casting and porc bake. Dr is aware of what I'm doing was very up front with him.

The whole reason trying this is I'm tired of paying $250 for ucla abuts from noble.

Other companies make aftermarket UCLA type abutments for most Nobel platforms.

....and people are worried about sending stuff to China because they don't know what they are getting....

This is why the FDA or some other Federal agency will eventually be more involved in dental labs.

If cut a horizontal and vertical retention groves, it's not going to fail. No matter what oxide forms.
My two cents! Mill customs is my choice

I'm not trying to hide or b deceive. If I thought what I was trying was going to cause lawsuit I wouldn't do it. Have you never experimented in the lab
