im wondering if you could take the forte scan. convert to stl. take a 3shape scan convert to stl. import them both in the same blender/rhino window and drag and drop the forte scan over the top. get rid of the excess 3shape scan body left outside those walls then export it as one file to 3shape. it would be messy but it would be good to see if the software would accept it.
on another note 3i isn't selling Renishaw anymore. They broke ties a while back. They're working with 3shape to eventually do all there scan design work in lab for encode and regular fixtures. they will have their own library of scan bodies for their bars. As your probably aware all encode is done on a 3shape so its all there and ready to go. Word is very shortly (weeks) we will be able to load the abutment and bar material files for them and get going.
