We have just purchased our first milling machine:), Roland DWX-50. Looking forward to doing are own mills, but we are looking for information about Tanaka ZirColor and ZirChrome. What are the pro's and con's to this product, and is there any others that are better.

Maybe it is good? The portions are crazy too small for me.

We'd finish a jar of their stains in a couple hours!

So, I never ordered.

They need to make 10x bigger bottles.

We have used them and liked the results. We are now a Bruxzir lab and no longer use the kit we have. I am willing to let it go for a reasonable price so you can play with it without having to commit full price to a new kit.

Hi I test it and I use it and I can tell you it is the best color I ever had.
Use it together with SAGEMAX NexxZr and it is phantastic.
But why do you buy an Roland ?

I have used it on sagemax also pretty good for a result one thing to know you have to use always one shade darker then the dr's. prescription and if you have a question about the zircolor you can call sagemax because they have tried many kinds and they like Tanaka and they told me it want harm your sintering furnace because there is no acid in it. good luck.

So, what else you are using for coloring and staining full crowns?

zircon colour

We have used few color system like the Vita and Wieland. We end up using the colour system from Zirkonzhan again and again. That give us the best result.

But if you us liner like in the Ivoclar system you do not need to color the zirconia.

No we do not use the liner for that. Only for crowns where we use old bui- up method. But if you are using the fx. the Prettau material from Zirkonzahn you use special color and stains for that.

We use zirconzahn prettau stains both pre and post sintering ,was a little tricky at first but now our shades are pretty much spot on, you will have to pre-dry after staining before sintering ,using an infrared lamp for about an hour.
