spray opaque

Good morning,
We use spray opaque system with nitrogen as propellant. Thinking of switching to compressed air to cut costs. We have a dryer on our compressor. Any advice or experience with this would be great.

Twenty years using spray opaque. Never had a problem. Dryer at the compressor and a filter regulator at each source of use. I only have maintained the dryer. The other have not needed any.
