I am facing a problem with pressing printed resin
1. grey lines inside the core\veneer
2. ring breaks inside the pressing furnace

i am using press-vest from ivoclar and following the catalogue liquid\water ratio
what do you think might solve these issues ??

I would guess that the resin does not like the speed/fast burnout. Not sure about Ivoclars investment. I would talk to them. You could see if a slow two stage burnout works. Not sure if Ivoclar has instuctions for two stage.
The gray line? Does it look like a crack before and after glazeing? This is the rods of the lithium disilicate coming together. Hard to explain this to a Dr.
Again talk to Ivoclar about how best to lessen this. This can be lessen by trying different sprue angles or a different placement.

Gray lines could also be unburned resin, I'd be happy to help as I've spent the last couple years R&Ding this process. No means an expert but I'd be happy to share what I've learned along the way. BTW I had no luck using Ivoclar's premium investment with printed resin, more cracked rings than not, even with a 2-stage burnout. Feel free to DM me or share your printed resin you're using and any other info

I've been using Burn2 resin from PowerResins/DentaFab with great results. Prints come out extremely accurate and rarely have misprints. Sorry, I don't have any experience with Nextdent resin, but I have tried sirayatech purple, Archibald digital lavender, and ivoclar proart, all with pretty terrible results.
For investments I've tried Ivoclar PressVest Premium, JP Vest, Jensen Microstar, Talladium Galaxy 2, all of which I couldn't get to play nice with castable resins. Most of those investments cracked during burnout or pressing.
I was previously using GC Pressvest, since it was the only one that never cracked, but had heavy reaction layer and finning. We have just switched to Bego Bellavest SH, and I got the best press ever for these 6 emax veneers this morning. Hardly any reaction layer, no finning, no chipping.

The Bellavest seems to be pretty technique sensitive based on their instructions, this worked great for me in a 200g ring:
200g powder
40ml Liquid/ 10ml distilled H2O
Hand spatula 30 sec
Vac mix 60 sec
Vac only (no stirring) 30 sec
Bench set 15 min with ring mould
Bench set 15 more minutes removed from ring mould
Into hot oven 850 degrees for 1 hour

Direct messages should be available once you have a few more public posts. Let me know if you have any questions, good luck!
