The lower centrals are not overlapped, nor are any other teeth in the dentition.

The md centrals are flared distally and are the same length .The mx centrals could be the same without the spinach trap.

Look at the long axis angle of the md centrals, where do you get the idea I'm talking about "hollywood straight" ?

Do you think the patient had an overlap with his original teeth?

This sounds like a question for Jan because I wasn't chairside to see if there was overlap or not and what the dentist ordered.

The truth right here. Spending a lot of time in Japan, I can say, the Japanese are not into the Perfect straight Bleached smile.

Hi,

Some individuals seem to know everything and are also everyone in their minds. This is how they function and I see there is no use to try and make a nice conversation it is better to step back. I will blame the ADD.

But the one who suffers is this forum and community, because people are not posting their work because of those bitchy words about their work.
I tried to show my type of work, visions and thinking, but I was labeled as Ego bruised postman. But it looks some of you just don't read my posts. They just look at pictures?

The one and only is the pacient. So he will decide if our work of art is done so he feels ok or not. I have received a call, that the pacient was happy with the results and they have permanently fixed my "temporaries".
So I hope this is the end of the story and I have received even a picture. But I must reply myself, that this type of work is new to me and I can see for myself the errors. But I am still posting it because I am also learning and maybe someone else will learn something to.

ai1300.photobucket.com_albums_ag81_jsmersol_DSC_0905_zps2a679787.jpg

Here is another case, where I have been doing some changes and the pacient was happy with the result. But after a month or two, can't remember anymore, he decided not to have this type of restoration.
I can't blame him, but I have learned a lesson to and it helped me a lot in my career. Listen even more to the pacient.

ai1300.photobucket.com_albums_ag81_jsmersol_0003_zpsfc973522.jpg

So stop bitching about others work and do was is best for the pacients and keep your eyes open. Maybe even you can learn something. This "you" means to all the people who are willing to learn.

And for those who don't read the removables forum I will just post here a case of my removable. So I can point out some words that were here about the Golden rule and my Ego trip as a ceramics tech.

Hi Rkm,

I don't see any insults. This post is related to all members who find themselfs in my writings.

If I have made some insults, please point them out, because it can be because of my language translations.

And thanks for your positive reply.

Great work Jan, If anything, I would of gone more extreme. Fully open up the interproximals and get that black triangle thing going. The patient has gum recession all over the place.

Hi SiKBOY,

Yes I saw that, but I have decided not to do it, because the frame is curved and I did not want to stress it to much, because the pacient has very little posterior teeth so I assumed he will have more forces in the anterior region. So the connectors were really high and strong and this is the area were it is not looking good, for sure. Thanks for sharing your opinion.

Hi Grabo,

I am using Nikon D700 with macro VR 105 mm and R1C1 dual setup flash. But keep in mind that D700 is FX or full frame body. So this is real 105mm if you think of buying or having a different body like DX line. Setting is A as Aparture mode. max closed to have the pictures sharp.

Hi Al.,

Send me a PM with your mail, so I can give you a dropbox share and you have the original quality if you wish. Otherwise you can use these with no problem and thanks for asking.

Hi rkm,

I don't want to insult anybody. So if I have insulted you, I am sorry for my insults. We both still want to do what is best for our pacients in the way we best can, we learnt, we have experienced and we know. And here we have our difference. But like already said, this difference would not be even close if we would speak in person.

Regards, jan

I thought I would post some pics of my first case fully done by me from start to finish . I designed them , milled them in CrCo and then build up the porcelain and finish them . The shade is A 1 , the patient didn't want any darker margin area , only the canines are A 2 .I will have pics in the mouth probably tomorrow . Everybody was happy , me , the doc and the patient . He said to me that he didn't touch anything . Please feel free to comment . Thank you very much .

Heres a case I just pressed today. Has to go out in the mail Mon.
Ortho case with missing teeth.
No laterals, the cuspids were moved into the lateral position and I made cuspids of the 1st bicuspids. I three unit bridge had to lay the pontic partly on to the molar to fit it in. Really just a bit of an illusion. Not enough space for a bicuspid on the other side so just extended the two crowns #3 and #6 to fill the space.
I made the cutback to protect the layering porc. Im really more concerned for no future fractures than really beautiful layering.
Request was OM3 shade.
Pressed the upper in V3 and the lowers in BL3 HT.

Amazing as usual. You find that using the HT give you constistant results? It seems everytime we use HT they tend to be too grey, and we have a problem with them cracking as well. You ever see any issues with the HT. We have switched to only using LT for posterior and Value ingots for anterior with no cut back.

Thanks Shane, I almost never use HT for anteriors. Like you said greys out. But for lower anteriors BL3 Ht can make a nice B1.

Drizzt you posted some nice cases.
If you want to improve on them make your surface smoother. I do my final contouring with a really smooth stone and I look at the surface from different angles. Diamonds and green stones make the surface sand paper rough.
Glaze can also make the surface rough. The camera picks up every surface flaw.

Check out the surface of this case that is going out in the morning.
