Here it is with the contrast up so you can see exactly where I put the paste.

I deluted the N paste to put the colors on.
Put the B shade on the cervical. Dark Grey on the incisal only. I brought the grey down just a little to frame the mammalons. The mammalons are just unstained emax.
I put white paste on the very incisal edge. Put it on thick to slightly extend the edge rather than have it go on the facial. But it did get on the facial in a few spots. The white is for the halo.

I put two thinner coats of N paste on after the first. Didnt want it to puddle. May not be necessary but dont know.
I rubber wheeled the surface afterwards to get a real smooth finish then hit it with a brush with just some diamond paste residue on it.

Did you have to rubber wheel the contacts after the N paste firings or were the coats thin enough?

if you sandblast lightly first, it wont run as much. if its rubber-wheeled then it has a tendency to pool.. and it can make a mess.

They look nice. I would like to see them after 5 years of brushing and attrition. I have seen a few pressed and stain 5 years+ ,they lose all stain and effects. Luster paste is surface and i imagine the same will happen. Time will tell. Lovely contours

Then he should love it because they will getter whiter.
Ive also seen and had some really beautiful layering work fail from fracture.

Pick your evil, I always pick strength and function over beauty.

I wont layer posterior emax. Emax layering porc is weak, Could care less if the stain wears off I dont want them to break.

Al, I think, that you should take into consideration the idea of making a book with photos of your work and the techniques you use ..
Between the users of this forum would have quite a lot of buyers!

Two milled gold crowns and a P/ chrome is a lot less ££ than implants or two bridges.

Al,
What is the surface of the copings layered with, other than stains, prior to stacking porcelain?
