I find Diamond paste makes too shinny like they are wet.
I think makes them look fake in the mouth.

I figure this man will break crowns.
Lower will not be restored.

Pressed full contour then scooped out facial leaving a thin band on incisal edges full contour.
Missing larerals , cuspids in their place.

Very nice Al. As usual. I do a similar technique with my zirconia. Leaves me feeling more confident towards breakage than anything I have done in over thirty years.

Do you glaze labial full contoured before staining ? Or glaze everything at the end?

I use zirliner on entire surface then lightly sandblast entire surface so internal staining stays in place. I then do some the internal staining and stain the lingual. Then fire the stains. Then layering. Shape and then glaze entire crown. Hope that helps.

Very nice Al. Started doing the same types of cutbacks with zirconia a number of years ago but I bet LiSi MT looks better in the mouth,
as compared to zirconia.
Al, have you ever done 2 sets of anteriors in LiSi and zirconia with cutbacks ? using an anterior type of zirconia.
Got a feeling the MT will win hands down just like the big win of Carolina over KY last time. lol

I actually spend extra time on the facial surface to try to get the light reflection I prefer.
guess that means licking it and looking at it in different angles then rubber wheeling about half the chicken scratch out after glaze.

Well, if at first I don't succeed...do it over. To much chroma and low value on the ging 1/2, the middle 1/3rd to ging not smooth enough.
Need to work on the mesial line angle, and a bit more trans on the Inc. The target shade is a low value A1. I used a LT A1, with ZI-F
Incical combinations. Will now use a MT A1 at 80% contour, stain it as needed and overlay Incisals. Sound like a plan?
