I'm gonna fire batch at 1450 to double test. Think quickest way to fix is replace heating elements and thermo couple something isn't right. My friend using Chinese 3k dollar oven comes out nice. Spend money on nabertherm doesn't last 6 months before all these problems start popping up. Any suggestions please I'm ready try anything at this point. Tired of sintering at my friends every night

@Jimmy Lindsey

Ive re-read the thread to make sure Im not missing something. Are you by chance wet milling?
Im just wondering if there could be some coolant contamination.

If your buddy is getting decent results, Id be asking to cook a couple tabs in his oven to see where his temp is at.

Youre running your oven on a dedicated 220 circuit?

Just grasping for ideas.

Or the newer bottom load?

Any chance you can snap a close up pic of your elements?

We had same problem. It started after one year of using furnace. Sulphur powder build up in chimney. When furnace closes the sulphur drops into furnace causing contamination of the zirconia. Removing chimney on top of furnace and steam clean works for us. Just steam clean once a month Run cleaning cycle with some leftover zirconia.

Will try I pulled it out and some black debris but can that throw temps or make everything come out whiter?

Please post some pics. Your sinter oven has a chimney? Like a vent? Its not a sealed chamber?:confused:

Did you recently changed sintering tray or beads?

I had a batch come out like this once due to new sintering tray+beads o_O Stopped using it right away'

Although I have a feeling it was most likely because I used it with a lid

No you can pull it out like 8 inches long. I'd snap pic but I just put everything back together
