no, it isnt. 3shape decided this was not a thing you need to do, nobody would design the whole case at once.

been down this road.

Just get exocad:), you can make your own decisions on how to do a case and break the rules easily when a solution outside of the box is needed.

yeah, it's part of the eventual plan, but for today it's 3shape. And, I figured it out. You have to call the teeth framework pontics, obviously.

you can't add pontics without any teeth as abutments, and the system will not "connect" pontics to things that arent tissue, and you can't connect tissue to a frame.

well, according to the manual, you select the teeth you want, click framework, then click frame pontic. So, that's what I did. I designed an upper and lower and it all worked. I know it doesn't make sense, which is why I hadn't tried it.

Also, I know I should have checked the manual first. Now. In retrospect. It's never been much help before.

RPD and pontics will export a one piece RPD and teeth as one, if that's what you want.

I think in 2018 you can have 2 stl files not one
