Hi all, just wondering is it possible to design just the palatal aspect of anteriour teeth and not include the buccal. My dentist wants to initially just build up the palatals to establish bite and then later to add to the buccal surface. I would like to mill these out of PMMA so he can add/subtract as he wishes. Not sure how i would do this though in 3shape.

any thoughts would be very helpful

Hi Cool hand luke. I selected onlay/veneer and scanned as per normal. After scanning working model where you then have to mark each working tooth , Instead of placing blue dots on buccals, I placed them on palatal at base of prep. Not sure if this did anything but the veneers did get placed on palatal in the designer. I did plot margins on palatal by hand also. Then just modelled palatals only. Much easier than waxing by hand and scanning individually. Cheers mate. Jeff
