Has anyone used Zest's new style Locator / R-Tx?
Have you used it on divergent implants and parallel implants?
Any issues or concerns?

Thanks,

Darwin

Haven't seen them yet, but their literature looks reasonably hopeful.

Just another resilient attachment to solve f-ed up placement. ZEST sell more inserts so that docs have them on hand and labs are forced to play the game and have a bigger inventory as well for same day relines and other frustrating paths.

It sure would be great if the FDA would actually play fair and realize that if an attachment can be loaded from extreme angles than the flipping cad bases and software I want to use to design something that will be WAY MORE PRECISE should be just fine.

This attachment like most resilient attachment perpetuates sh!tty placement with the knowledge that hell we can fix any damn thing.

How about we decide on how to actually plan for success rather than just DEAL with the the same old crap?????

What strikes me funny is this multioption 'solution' is what effectively killed ERA around here. The docs went running away from it after they had to actually keep track of what version was in the pt.

Edit:import ants of proofreading.

I am so with you there,

I can't tell you how many times I have witnessed dr putting the wrong insert in and wondering why things don't work

We used to do a bunch of Zagg attachments and in Zests wisdom to solve attachment wear/slop to add a bunch of oversize male attachments to solve the issue. Clients would never ever chart and always wondered when then changed the attachment why it just didn't feel as tight.

Another tool to fix a problem that should not exist
