Hi Techies

I have a doosie of a case where I am going to have to do some cast-to locators to cement on to some prepared very old implants. I would prefer to use CrCo to cast to the locators as it will probably cement better.

Does anyone know if you can cast CrCo to the zest locator cast-on or will it only handle the lower casting temp of precious metals

Yes you can, but what I use is www.rhein83usa.com
OT Equator Castable
This allows you to cast a post and core or implant with a locator(equator) with it. I suggest this technique when you have like two teeth (usually 22/27) and they are root canals. We would cast a OT equator on the post and core...instant locator implant.

coat the locator with "white-out" just before investing... not the knock off crap..
it will protect it from oxide and flash
