I know I was asked about other alloy choices for Strategy Milling's milled full contour crowns. The second alloy is here! We had so many requests for a 2% Au alloy that we wasted no time in producing pucks of this type. The price per/gram currently is $10.48 and the normal $40 Milling fee applies. Shipping is a la carte and still offered around the world.

Check out Strategy Milling for more information.

These are two of the first pucks of our NEW 2% Au alloy. We're ready to mill them!

You guys are too much..:)...we can measure in either...personally, I prefer Troy for precious, but around here I'm outnumbered. And considering our customers and what works best for most of their systems, grams was selected. But enough about the scale of measure, how about a couple of crowns?

Never heard of a Dental Alloy sold by the Gram.

1 oz = 31.1034768 grams

1 Troy oz (ozt) = 28.3495

It is always sold by the dwt, or by the troy oz. and most are produced in pieces by the pennyweight.
For those of you doing the math to convert your alloy cost to grams......have fun!! You are not in the majority for a legitimate reason.

For clarity, you have the conversions transposed. 1 Troy oz (ozt) = 31.1034768.
