Our modern private-practice has an amazing opportunity for another 3Shape Lab Technician/Designer to join our in-house lab team here in sunny Central Florida (~30 miles North of Orlando). The ideal candidate will be proficient with 3Shape software, carrying out case parameters for compatibility with the clinician’s prescription, and designing restorations according to the prescription. Designs may range from single units to full arch designs. Salary is extremely competitive and negotiable, based upon experience. Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
-Reading prescriptions and examining cases to determine the ideal design of dental restoration
-Scanning, interpreting, designing, and fabricating dental prosthesis using 3Shape software and technology according to provider prescription requests
-Effectively communicating case planning throughout necessary departments
-Designing dental framework, full contour crowns, bridges, implant abutments, veneers, diagnostic wax-ups, and implants
-Proficient in 3Shape and understanding of manufacturing processes and digital dental lab techniques
-Proficient in dental anatomy and terminology and ability to meet tight deadlines while consistently producing quality restorations
-Preparing design prototypes and coordinate with providers to obtain final design approval

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
-Minimum of 2 years of dental laboratory experience as a laboratory technician or prior experience working for a dental implant manufacturer
-Experience with 3shape and other desktop scanners and software
-CDT degree preferred, though not required
-Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills -
Ability to identify and problem solve independently and within a team environment
-Ability to work on multiple tasks and complete them by following strict timelines
-Must be willing to continue education with CE events and seminars
-Demonstrates expertise in full-arch restoration setups, processes, and terminology
