Digital Treatment Planner / CAD/CAM Technician

Esthetics Dental Studio is a mid-sized high tech dental lab that is in growth mode. We are looking for a high energy, motivated, and accountable technician. Our CAD/CAM technicians use advanced technical skills to plan and design sophisticated dental prosthetics to exacting standards. They follow the direction of the doctors and team, using critical thinking to troubleshoot complex solutions on a patient-by-patient basis. The best candidate will be dedicated to producing their best possible work and have experience with implants and surgical guides. Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.

Essential Job Functions: Operates CAD/CAM software, 3D printers, and milling units to create crowns, surgical guides for implants.

Job Responsibilities:

• Scan, design, and fabricate dental prostheses using CAD/CAM software and technology.
• Proficient in dental anatomy and terminology.
• Design full arch interim and final restorations in CAD software.
• Prepare design prototypes and coordinate with doctor to obtain final design approval.
• Provide Digital treatment planning.
• Process digital orders once electronic files are received.
• Imports digital dental restoration cases into planning software.
• Reviews and converts modeless scans from intraoral scanners (IOS).
• Scans impression and or models as needed.
• Utilizes 3D printing software to fabricate surgical guides.
• Cleans and post-print -processes of surgical guides.
• Designing dental restorations, tooth supported, and implant supported.
• Must have experience in implant and surgical guide design.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum two (2) years of customer service experience.
• Minimum seven (7) years of dental experience.
• RDA, DA, or CDT preferred.
• Implant experience required.
• CoDiagnostics and/or 3 Shape Implant Studio (or equivalent) experience, preferred.
• Experience in CAD/CAM software 3Shape or Exocad, Surgical Guide planning
